Xiangyang 襄阳 — Three Kingdoms City — Ancient Fortress

Xiangyang (襄阳) is one of China's most famous ancient cities, known from the Three Kingdoms period. The city's walls along the Han River witnessed centuries of warfare. General Guan Yu defended Xiangyang in one of history's most legendary battles.
